Privacy Policy
Effective August 2, 2026
This policy explains how CartGap handles information on the CartGap website, in the Buying-Facts Grader browser extension, and in its private Pinterest publishing integration. The CartGap operator uses the Pinterest integration for the CartGap business account. CartGap does not offer that integration as a public service to other users.
Website analytics
CartGap uses Google Analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device and browser categories, and general site usage. Google may process analytics data under its own privacy terms. You can use Google's opt-out add-on.
Buying-Facts Grader
Your browser processes the product-page text entered into the Grader. CartGap does not store that text or send it to a server. During a Full Report license check, your browser sends the license key to a Cloudflare-hosted CartGap endpoint, which sends it to Lemon Squeezy for validation. Neither request includes your product-page text. When Lemon Squeezy confirms a valid license, the endpoint returns the paid rewrite-template data needed to assemble the report in your browser.
Buying-Facts Grader browser extension
The browser extension processes product-page text locally inside its popup. It does not send, sell, store, or share that text. When you open the extension and ask it to read selected text, it receives temporary access to the active tab and reads the current text selection. It does not read browsing history, change page content, or run continuously in the background.
The extension contains no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, remote code, user accounts, payments, or external API calls. Links in the extension can open the CartGap website, where the website disclosures in this policy apply.
Free checklist email
If you request the free 13-point checklist, CartGap sends your email address to MailerLite to confirm the request and deliver one checklist email. CartGap does not use this address for recurring marketing campaigns. MailerLite first sends a double-opt-in message; after you confirm the request, it sends the checklist. MailerLite keeps the subscriber record under its retention practices until you unsubscribe or ask CartGap to delete it.
You can unsubscribe using the link in the email or ask CartGap to delete the subscriber record by using the contact address below. CartGap does not attach your product-page text or Grader result to the MailerLite subscriber record.
Purchases and downloads
Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad handles purchases and downloads. Those providers process payment, account, and delivery information, including the email address needed for receipts, license delivery, and order-related support, under their own privacy policies. CartGap does not receive full payment-card details. CartGap does not use an order email address for promotional broadcasts unless the buyer separately asks to receive them.
Pinterest integration
The private CartGap Pinterest integration may use authorized API access to:
- read CartGap's own boards and Pins;
- publish Pins that the CartGap operator has reviewed and selected;
- read performance data for CartGap's own Pins; and
- confirm whether a requested publishing action succeeded.
CartGap keeps access tokens in non-public secret storage. The integration requests Pinterest data when needed and does not create a separate archive of Pinterest account data. CartGap may keep its own draft text, locally created image filenames, publishing plans, and campaign notes. Pinterest API data is not sold or shared with third parties.
Data retention and control
CartGap keeps operational records while they support publishing, measurement, or compliance. You can revoke Pinterest access from the connected Pinterest account. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the analytics provider. Checklist email records follow the controls described above. License keys may remain in the buyer's browser storage so the Grader can restore access on a later visit; the buyer can remove that local copy by clearing site data.
